Short presentation
Gurbet Peker is a PhD candidate in Ethnology, Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology. She is also part of the Multidisciplinary Graduate School in Sustainability Development at Campus Gotland. Her PhD project focuses on how sustainability is narrated and practiced in the everyday life on the Gotlandic countryside. The project touches on the interplay between tourism, cultural heritage and islandness.
