Short presentation
I am an Associated Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social and Human Geography. My current research is primarily on political and legal geography, especially the role of land reform and land rights in past and present state-building processes (with Estonia as a case in point). Other research interests include landscape change, land management, and the history of cartography. I teach on courses in geographical theory and methodology, as well as landscape history.
