Distinguished University Professor at Department of Neuroscience, Larhammar: Pharmacology
Dan Larhammar is professor of molecular cell biology since 1994. He received pharmacist degree in 1980 and PhD at the Faculty of Medicine in 1984. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences since 2007, presently its president. His research concerns evolution, neurobiology, endocrinology and pharmacology. He also has a strong interest in the distinction between science and pseudoscience. He has supervised 22 students to PhD degree. His research group presently has five members.
