I work as an Associate Professor in Sociology of Religion and as director and senior researcher at the Center for Multidisciplinary Studies on Racism (CEMFOR).
In my research, I explore intersections between secularism, religion, and politics with a special focus on nationalism, alterity, gender, and violence. I mainly employ discourse-analytical and ethnographic methodologies.
