Short presentation
Doctoral student at Ångström Laboratory, within the microbial chemistry department. Currently I am working on engineering photosynthetic microorganisms (cyanobacteria) for clean hydrogen production. To do so, I apply the recent advantages on synthetic biology and genetic engineering to edit the cyanobacterial electron transport pathways and metabolism. My research is framed within the PhotoSynH2 consortium, aiming to develop cost-effective photobiological hydrogen production technologies.
