Research

Pascale Wehbe is currently working in a research project called BiLI-TAS (Bilingualism & Language Impairment, Turkish, Arabic, Swedish). This study focuses on investigating various aspects of language development in Arabic- Swedish-speaking children, including narrative abilities, vocabulary, phonological processing, and grammar comprehension. The primary objective is to gain a deeper understanding of bilingual language development, providing a clearer distinction between typical and atypical language development in bilingual children. By conducting a longitudinal study, the research team aims to track the progression of these linguistic skills over time.
