Dr Olsson is associate professor in Clinical Psychology in Healthcare and researcher and psychologist in the strategic research program U-CARE, hosted by the research group Clinical Psychology in Healthcare, Uppsala University, Sweden. His main interests are mental health, modifiable risk-factors and health behaviors in the context of cardiovascular disease. At the moment he works with a study evaluating a CBT-oriented internet-based intervention aimed to reduce anxiety and depression after MI.
Dr Olsson is supervisor to PhD-students John Wallert and Sophia Humphries at the Department of Women's and Children's Health, Uppsala University. He is also assistant supervisor to other PhD-students at Uppsala University and Karolinska Institutet.
