Short presentation
I am a PhD student working on Geological CO2 Storage in deep saline aquifers as a way to mitigate Climate Changes. In this process, captured atmospheric CO2 is injected deep underground, potentially into saline aquifers, which are widely available and have high storage capacities. At that depth, CO2 will be stored by so called Trapping Mechanisms for a very long time. I combine modelling and experiments at both large and small scales to better understand the related physics.
