Akash has worked as a research intern in International Business discipline at the Department of Business Studies. He has been awarded the prestigious Uppsala university “IPK”, “Flygare Christmas gift” and “Eneström” scholarships by the Vice Chancellor of Uppsala University. His research interests include control mechanisms for managing the MNCs, internationalization of firms, innovation and knowledge transfer within MNC subsidiaries and center of excellence.

Biography

Muhammad Akash Bin Nasir was a master’s student of Business and Management with specialization in International Business. Akash holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science (Hons) and business administration (Marketing), respectively. Akash carries a decade of professional work experience in both the public and private sectors, in different departments like sales, customer services, administration and HR in a managerial capacity. He has worked as a research intern in International Business discipline at the Department of Business Studies. He has been awarded the prestigious Uppsala university “IPK”, “Flygare Christmas gift” and “Eneström” scholarships by the vice chancellor of Uppsala University. His research interests include control mechanisms for managing the MNCs, internationalization of firms, innovation and knowledge transfer within MNC subsidiaries and center of excellence.
