Rima Haddad is a doctoral student in linguistics. She is interested in topics related to language acquisition, bilingualism, narratives, grammar and lexicon. Haddad works with the BiLI-TAS team (Swedish Research Council 2014-2019, directed by Professor Ute Bohnacker), where they investigate, amongst other topics, monolingual and bilingual children's vocabulary comprehension and production, phonological processing and narrative abilities in relation to age, language exposure and background factors. Their aim is to gain knowledge on age-related linguistic skills of bilingual children in Sweden. Haddad's research is focused on the typical development of Arabic speaking bilingual children's language skills.
