With inter-disciplinary experience at the intersection of environmental and political science, my overall research interest has been in two interconnected global carbon challenges: the first related to the constrained flow of fossil fuels that increases securitization of energy supplies and calls for alternatives; the second concerned with the unconstrained use of hydrocarbons that increases GHG concentrations in the atmosphere and necessitates mitigation measures.
