My dissertation project is focused on representations of gentrification and the post-Wall development of Berlin in contemporary novels by, among others, Ulrich Peltzer, Annett Gröschner and Inger-Maria Mahlke.
I teach an overview course on German poetry and prose of the 20th century mainly, including important works of Franz Kafka, Wolfgang Borchert and Elfriede Jelinek.
