Petter Spjut är doktorand i Nya testamentets exegetik och skriver sin avhandling om 300-talets debatter kring auktoritativ text, med särskild fokus på texttolkning i den koptiska texten Pistis Sophia. Förutom senantik kristendom, samt koptisk och grekisk litteratur, intresserar sig Petter också för ideologikritik och receptionshistoria.
