Katarina Selling is associate professor in reproductive epidemiology at the department of women’s and children’s health at Uppsala University. Dr Katarina Selling is a statistician by profession, and has a MSC in statistics and public health from Linköping University. Katarina Selling’s current line of research focuses on data mining (‘big data’) solutions as an aid in tailoring of maternal and child health interventions in low- and middle-income settings. She is also involved in design and analysis of cross-sectional and longitudinal observational studies as well as in design of trials. Thus, Dr Selling has active research collaboration in, for example, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Nicaragua, and Uganda.
