Professor Sanna Wolk is a researcher within the field of intellectual property and marketing law at the Faculty of Law, Uppsala University (www.imk.uu.se).

Sanna founded the Institute of Intellectual Property, Marketing and Competition Law (IMC) in 2012. She is Chair of the board. IMC is one of the leading research and education unit within its areas in Sweden.

Biography

Professor Sanna Wolk has worked practically and theoretically with legal issues concerning Intellectual Property Rights since the mid-1990’s. She has written a number of academic publications in her research field.

Sanna Wolk is President of AIPPI Sweden. She is also co-chair of the international AIPPI Copyright Committee. In addition, Professor Wolk is a Member to the Board of the Swedish Anti Counterfeiting Group (SACG) and a member of the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) reference group Intellectual Property and Market Law. Further she is member of the sub-Group IP in the Digital World of the EU Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights. Professor Wolk is also EU copyright expert appointed by the EU Commission.

Sanna Wolk is also the founder of the Institute of Intellectual Property, Marketing and Competition Law (IMC) at the Department of Law, Uppsala University.

Research

Sanna is currently conducting research on copyright related aspects of contracts on the digital European market. Before she conduct research on e-learning and copyright at public institutions, as well as copyright protection for computer programs. In her PhD dissertation Sanna discussed employees' intellectual property.
