Tina Mathisen is a PhD candidate in human geography, with a master’s degree in sociology. Her PhD project revolves around young refugees’ experiences of place attachment, belonging and identity processes in rural areas in Norway. Particular interests are: migration, youth, identity, racialization processes, social exclusion and inclusion, translocality and qualitative participatory methods.
