My courses

My academic background is in cultural geography and I received a master degree 2012 in Human geography from Stockholm University. My master's thesis "The Chef and Restaurateur –The Hero of Our Time. A Study of Homosociality and Creative Entrepreneurship" treated gender structures among restaurateurs and chefs at gourmet restaurants in Stockholm. The results led me on to examine the importance of networks in order to succeed as an entrepreneur.

My ongoing research addressed issues surrounding networking, gender and social structures. Highlighting how creativity is part of an everyday that sometimes is about being an entrepreneur, but always about being part of a community. I am studying both the individual and the collective processes of being a part of a network as a self-employed. In my research I want to visualize other ways to look at procedures for networking, entrepreneurship and the creative process other than existing concepts.
