Short presentation
My PhD-project is about understanding and analyzing constructions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality and class through the lens and lives of young people living in the neighboring cities of El Alto and La Paz in Bolivia. I am interested more specifically in conceptions of the body, how bodies are differently conceptualized and materialized and connected to particular places in the cities.
