My research interests include geological storage of CO2, subsurface energy storage, seismic monitoring, AVO attribute analysis and seismic reservoir characterization. Lately my research has been also focused on the seismic-while-drilling technology.
Monika received her Bachelor's degree in Physics with specialization in Geophysics from the University of Zagreb, Croatia in 2004, and her PhD in Geophysics from Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, Germany in 2008. After her PhD she worked as a geophysicist at Institut IGH d.d., a Croatia-based company specializing in the research and development activities related to the field of civil engineering. In the period from 2011 to 2013 she worked as a PostDoc at the Department of Earth Sciences at Uppsala University, and since then as a Researcher at the same department.
