I received my Ph.D. in Political Science in 2008. My doctoral dissertation,Conditions for Corruption: Institutions, Executive Power, and Privatization in Argentina and Chile in the 1990s, investigates the conditions and mechanisms accounting for variations in the level of high-level corruption between different political settings, with an empirical focus on Argentina and Chile. Since 2010, I am working with research on environmental governance funded by SYLFF and Sida/Sarec.
My area of research is comparative politics with a particular emphasis on questions of governance, political institutions and public policy. Geographically, the main focus has been put on Latin America.
