Short presentation

Professor of clinical nutrition and metabolism, leading a research group that investigates dietary effects on fatty liver disease (NAFLD), type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease in both randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and prospective cohort studies. A key aim is to understand the role of different fatty acids in the development of these diseases. We hope to gain new knowledge on the impact of different diets for both the prevention and treatment of cardiometabolic diseases.
