Biografi
Joakim Lindblad tog civilingenjörsexamen i teknisk fysik och doktorsexamen i datoriserad bildanalys vid Centrum för bildanalys, Uppsala universitet år 1997 resp. 2003. Han är professor i datoriserad bildbehandling vid Institutionen för informationsteknologi, Uppsala universitet; Senior Research Associate vid Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Serbia; och Head of Research vid Topgolf Sweden AB, Stockholm, Sweden. Hans forskningsintressen omfattar utveckling av generella och pålitliga metoder för bildbehandling och analys, inklusive data-drivna metoder så som djup maskininlärning, ofta med tillämpningar inom biomedicin och medicin.
