Forskning

Currently I am working with Prof. Máté Erdélyi on the discovery of β-lactamase inhibitors (BLIs). The development of BLIs for coadministration with β-lactam antibiotics is one of the strategies to restore the efficacy of such antibiotics against resistant bacteria. Since 2019 I am also establishing my independent research on fluorescent probes for applications in the life sciences. The aim of the research is to provide new tools for labeling and transformation of bioactive molecules, and to allow for studies of their distribution in cells, interactions with target biomolecules and molecular organization using fluorescence-based techniques.

I am looking for a highly motivated master student in organic chemistry to perform an internship or master thesis project.
