Biografi

Detta stycke finns inte på svenska, därför visas den engelska versionen.

My work bridges the fields of the Sociology of Emotions, Critical Studies of Men and Masculinities and Family Intimacy from a comparative cultural perspective. Between 2017 and 2019, I worked as a Lecturer in Sociology at Oxford Brookes University in the UK, teaching across the three undergraduate years on the topics of Social Rersearch Methods, Sociology of Emotions, Gender Studies and Social Differences and Divisions. I obtained my PhD in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh, in 2017 under ther guidance of my supervisors Lynn Jamieson and Mary Holmes. From 2015 until the present, I also co-edited the annual publication titled 'The International Review of Leave Policies and Research' alongside Peter Moss, Alison Koslowski, Sonja Blum and more recently, Ivana Dobrotic. My first monograph based on this doctoral research is titled 'Fatherhood and Love: The Social Construction of Masculine Emotions' and will appear with Palgrave Macmillan towards the end of 2019. At the moment I am preparing my second book 'Stasis: A theory of in-activity' for Emerald Publishing, and editing a special issue on emotions and space for Frontiers in Sociology with Dr. Oksana Shmulyar Gréen from Götenburg University.
