Biografi
Anna Olaison är fil.dr. i Äldre och åldrande och disputerade vid Linköpings universitet 2009 på avhandlingen Negotating Needs. Processing older persons as home care recipients in gerontological social work practices. Kärnan i hennes forskning utgörs av det institutionella samspelet mellan välfärdsstaten och medborgare vid ansökningar om sociala omsorgstjänster. Senare arbeten har haft fokus på klienters möten med socialarbetare och hur institutionella kategorier produceras och reproduceras i behovsbedömningssamtal och i socialtjänstens utredningar. Intressena omfattar även frågor om betydelsen av socialpolitiska reformer för tjänster riktade till äldre personer. Olaison är projektledare för projektet ’Hur skapas (o) jämlika bedömningar av äldres behov? En studie av biståndshandläggares interna diskussioner under behovsbedömningskonferenser i socialtjänsten’ som finansieras av Forte. Medverkande forskare är Annika Tagizadeh Larsson och Johannes H Österholm, Linköpings universitet. Projektet syftar till att analysera behovsbedömningskonferenser med fokus på hur föreställningar om olika grupper av äldre och deras behov av stöd konstrueras, tillämpas och utmanas i diskussioner om resurser och insatser. Hon arbetar också med ett tvåårigt projekt om Multisjuka äldres erfarenheter av riktad primärvård- möjligheter och hinder för inflytande och delaktighet- som finansieras av Region Östergötland och Linköpings universitet. Anna är sedan juli 2018 verksam som biträdande universitetslektor vid CESAR.
