Niklas Karlén is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. His research focuses on various aspects of biased third-party interventions. He employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to explore research questions related to the decisions of outside states to provide and terminate material support to belligerents and how these decisions in turn influence conflict dynamics.
