Dr. Nazeem Seyed-Mohamed is a Senior Lecturer at Uppsala University's Department of Business Studies where he is responsible for the course International Marketing, Marketing in the International Program, and also supervises Graduate and Master theses. He has also taught several courses in Industrial Marketing. Additionally he was educator in the MOTOROLA M.B.A. Program in China. Furthermore, educated Estonian businessmen within a program funded by the World Bank. He has also lectured in other universities and university colleges in Sweden.
Nazeem is involved in research in International Business in Eastern Europe and the West, where his primary research interests concern positioning in international markets and institution building in Eastern Countries and Asia. He has published in several International Business Journals, including the Journal of Marketing. He is involved in research projects which are interdisciplinary, including Information Sciences, International Business, Law, Sociology and Medicine.
He has reviewed articles for the Journal of European Business. Chaired several conference proceeding, judge in the national ekonic student contest.
He has also received awards including one from the Kremlin.
Nazeem has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Studies from Uppsala University, and a Ph.D. from Uppsala University. Part of his Ph.D. studies were conducted at Penn State University in the U.S. Prior to his academic career he worked for many years in consulting for Business Firms.
