My main research interest is quantitative PET methodology, especially aiming at clinical implementation of quantitative PET methods.

Biography

Mark Lubberink is professor of molecular imaging physics at Uppsala University. He studied technical physics at Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven, The Netherlands and received his PhD from Uppsala University in 2001 with a thesis on quantitative PET with long-lived isotopes. After this, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher and medical physicist at the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET Research at the VU University Medical Centre in Amsterdam. In 2010, he returned to Uppsala to work as senior medical physicist with PET, and has been head of the diagnostic medical physics group at Uppsala University Hospital since 2015. His main research interest is quantitative PET methodology, especially aiming at clinical implementation of quantitative PET methods.
