Andreas Jarblad is a doctoral student at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research and an affiliated researcher at the Swedish Institute for North American Studies (SINAS). His research interests primarily include US politics (with a particular focus on foreign and security policy), international negotiation and nuclear weapons in international relations. His thesis examines how various branches of the US government interpreted the threat of the Chinese nuclear program in the 1960s.
