Short presentation

I conduct research on correlated electron systems e.g. Mott insulators, superconductors and frustrated magnetism. In my experimental work I use synchrotron techniques (e.g. angle-resolved photoemission, ARPES), neutron scattering, muon spin rotation and time-resolved laser spectroscopy. In parallel I also perform band structure calculations using the WIEN2k and KKR methods. Finally, I am responsible for course development and teaching in the course "Synchrotron Radiations in Natural Sciences".
