My courses

My scientific interests lie in the areas of Condensed matter physics, X-ray interaction processes
with matter and characterization of nanostructures with X-ray spectroscopies. I am
particularly interested in studying of the on-surface schemical reactions and investigation of
self-assembled molecular structures, bottom-up ingeneering of novel low-dimensional systems
and modification of their electronic structure. The range of the studied objects is wide and
includes graphene, h-BN, graphene nanoribbons, graphene nanotubes, various metal-organic
complexes, heterofullerenes and other functional materials.
