Ross Smith

I am a Vascular Biologist working to understand and, ultimately, treat Cerebral Vascular Malformations (CCM). CCM is a disease which leads to vessel dysfunction in the central nervous system. We use genetic mouse models of the disease and in vitro cell culture techniques to search for a treatment that can help patients.

My professional interests include image analysis, bioinformatics, and the use of deep learning to solve scientific problems. I also am interested in MRI scanning of mouse brains.
