Anna Bengtson is a senior researcher at Uppsala University's Department of Business Studies. She is currently active in a research project investigating the impact of relationships between business and socio-political actors on MNCs´ business in emerging markets. This project is financed by the Swedish Research Council and includes three senior researchers and four doctoral students. Anna is the department´s coordinator for the civil engineering programme STS (systems in technology and society) and teaches in courses in that programme. She is also the head of the evaluation committee for candidate and master thesises.

Anna's primary research interests concern industrial and international marketing, and especially aspects such as change processes in industrial network structures, technological development / innovation and various learning issues in business. She has published journal articles in e.g. IMM and EBR and has written several book chapters. Last year she edited a book in Marketing called "Marknadsföring - så mycket mer än reklam".
