Jonas Blomberg, född 1944, MD 1974, Göteborgs Universitet. 2. Disputation 1977, Medicinsk Biokemi, GU, Einar & Stina Stenhagen, Karl-Anders Karlsson handledares. "Functional Studies of Lipids". 3. Postdoktoralt arbete utomlands: 1979-1981, National Cancer Institute, Dr John Stephenson, Retrovirus. 4. Docent 1981 (Virologi). 5. Nuvarande tjänst, Professor emeritus 2011, dessförinnan professor (Klinisk Virologi),vid medicinska fakulteten vid UU 1996-2011. 6. Anställningar, Assistent, Medicinsk Biokemi 1965-1970. Klinisk virolog i Göteborg, Lund och Uppsala 1970-2011. Sedan 2 år deltidsanställd vid Klinisk Mikrobiologi vid Linköpings Universitetssjukhus. Handlett 15 doktorander till disputation.
