Anna-Klara Lindeborg is currently working as Chief Representative at Uppsala University’s regional office in Vietnam. She has previously been working at the Division of Quality Enhancement and prior to that as a lecturer at the department of Social and Economic Geography. Anna-Klara completed her PhD thesis in October 2012 at the same department. Anna-Klara has previously been working as a lecturer at the department of Social and Economic Geography. She has also coordinated and evaluated different projects related to internationalisation in higher education and research. Anna-Klara completed her PhD thesis in October 2012 with the title Where Gendered Spaces Bend: the Rubber Phenomenon in Northern Laos. The aim with the thesis was to understand and explain gendered everyday life in Northern Laos and the rural transformations associated with rubber production in the region, including four rounds of ethnographic fieldwork and collaboration with the Lao research institute NAFRI.
