Kort presentation
Simon Okwir is a researcher and lecturer at Uppsala University. He holds a double Ph. D in Industrial Management and Economics from KTH-Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan in Sweden and UPM - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain. Before joining Uppsala University, Simon was an assistant professor at Stockholm University. His research focuses on operations strategy and Performance Measurement & Performance Management in complex work environments, Industry 4.0 and algorithmic management.

Biografi
Simon Okwir is a researcher and lecturer at Uppsala University. He holds a double Ph. D in Industrial Management and Economics from KTH-Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan in Sweden and UPM - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain. Before joining Uppsala University, Simon was an assistant professor at Stockholm University. His research focuses on operations strategy and Performance Measurement & Performance Management practices in complex work environments and the digital sphere, including Industry 4.0. Simon has collaborated with management bodies such as SWEDAVIA, AENA and IBERIA airlines on Airport- Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) implementation in Sweden and Spain. In 2019, Simon collaborated with ICA supermarket on the applicability of blockchain in the food supply chains. Currently, he examines algorithmic management within Decentralized Autonomous organizations (DAOs) facilitated by blockchain technologies.
