Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University under the international postdoc grant from the Swedish Research Council (VR), no. 2017-06156. My project aims to understand how mechanical signals influence cell-cell communication and tissue-level responses in the microenvironment of adult intestinal stem cells in fruit flies.

I defended my Ph. D. thesis at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, 2016. My dissertation was on ”Micro-scale Platforms for Investigations of Biological Structures”, ISBN: 978-91-7597-499-6.

My MSc degree was in Materials and Nanotechnology, completed 2012 and my BSc was in Bioengineering in 2010.

My research interests encompass mechanobiology, stem cells, microfluidics, and micro- and nanoengineering.
