Kort presentation
Dr Hannah L. Brooke is a docent in epidemiology based at EpiHubben - a collaborative research environment within the Disciplinary domain of Medicine and Pharmacy at Uppsala University - which aims to facilitate the development and exchange of epidemiological knowledge, expertise and ideas.
Forskning
Dr Brooke is funded by the Swedish cancer society (Cancerfonden) and leads a small team that is working towards understanding the role of physical (in)activity, obesity, and diabetes, in cancer development and survival. In a forthcoming project, co-funded by the Uppsala Diabetes Center, Dr Brooke’s team plans to combine epidemiology with artificial intelligence to examine socioeconomic position and longitudinal risk factors trajectories in relation to complications of type 2 diabetes.
