Mina kurser

Detta stycke finns inte på svenska, därför visas den engelska versionen.

I am currently an Early Stage Researcher and a PhD student at the University of Uppsala, and am working as part of the REAL ITN, a Marie Curie funded project.

I did my Bachelor's degree in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Bristol, UK, focusing on the archaeology and anthropology of Africa, and material culture theory. I then continued with a Master's degree in Archaeology at the University of Oxford, UK. There I studied the archaeology of the East African coast, and stratification through the use of resources.

Before working for the REAL ITN, I was a researcher with the Sealinks project. The project was trying to discern early Indian Ocean connections by using archaeology, archaeobotany, and genetic research. With Sealinks I worked in Tanzania, Kenya, and Madagascar.

Throughout the years I also worked in commercial archaeology in Slovenia, and later the UK. I took part in excavations run for or/and by students in the UK and Germany. I was able to amass a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge working in various countries around the world. I hope to use this knowledge in my future research with the REAL ITN.
