Biography

My research interests center around the effects of global climate
change on ecosystem processes and biogeochemical cycling. During my
PhD-research in the project NITROF
(http://www.nitrof.forst.uni-goettingen.de/) I investigated how elevated
nitrogen input influences soil trace gas dynamics and fluxes in
tropical forests, specifically nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide and
methane. Currently, within the framework of the project 'The Color of
Water' (http://www.geo.uu.se/cow/index.html), I study the
reactivity and cycling of dissolved organic carbon in boreal lakes.
